We live in a world where wars are breaking out, dictators trying to start new Empires! A planet that is dying, with famine and floods killing thousands a year. Let's try and find some positivity... what makes you truly happy? For me, walking my dogs on a crisp spring morning as the dawn chorus breaks, before the world awakes, and its a moment to realise how wonderful nature is!
Happiness comes from within and if you are looking for an exterior factor to create it, it will be fleeting. You need to discover it with in and then it won't leave.

My small family Xmas eve lunch at a sushi place in London. Generally just finished a busy period at work so we meet for lunch and have a few drinks followed by a little party at our house.
Ipswich achieving stuff. Not sure I’ve ever been as happy as that night in Coventry which I appreciate is ridiculous. Although the first person I called was my wife who was in tears as she knows how much it meant to me. For balance football doesn’t get me down really so it’s all up side!
A nice bottle of red wine with cheese after a meal in a favourite restaurant with my wife and our friends.

Spending time with my granddaughter on my allotment. She’s just turned three and the world is a magic place that I get to see again through her eyes.
Spending any sort of time with my partner who’s just finished chemotherapy and now faces fifteen months of immunotherapy. Am in awe of her strength and resilience.
Seeing my two daughters having grown into wonderful human beings and both successful in their chosen fields.
Sitting on my allotment and counting my blessings (ninety-four as you’ve asked).
Being amazed at planting any sort of seeds and watching them grow.
Suddenly remembering or hearing a song that you haven’t recalled for a long time.
Following ITFC for the last sixty years or so.
Being highly amused by some posters on here and highly frustrated by others but recognising that’s what the world is all about

It sounds like you have so much to be grateful for in life. I'm sure there are struggles as well but its good to just concentrate on positives now and again!
Very much so- all of our privileges are as a result of our struggles. Neither my partner or I would ever have become freelance, had we not been dedicated to looking after the kids/I had some pretty bad health issues.
I never take it for granted, a total turn around from the miserable life I was living a mere five years ago.
