It’s good. Don’t agree with everything they’ve said but that’s fine.
But they’re showing (IMO) the right level of anger at being lied to and treated like fools, and not worthy of respect.

Brilliant podcast in my opinion. Heartening to see some journalistic integrity and an unwillingness to be bullied by the club.
I’ll be there on Monday but at the end of the day I’d rather support a community led Ipswich Town in league 1 than a premier league club that treats its fans with the lack of respect that Ashton has shown us all in the past week. | | | |

Those questions were really more about establishing that the club fabricated the story to them more so than actually getting answers I think.
Equally, him answering those questions in a public forum would have been monumentally stupid as the club has to shift all focus towards Monday and promotion.
Giving journalists more ammunition to spray at Kieran on Friday would have only disrupted things more.
No doubt there will come a time when the EADT have it out with Ashton over the whole thing and rightly so but IMO it is much better done in private and in the summer. [Post edited 31 Mar 18:29]

The issue is people need to let it go for a bit, because if Ashton was going over it he’d have gone by now, can’t see it happening until the summer if it happens at all.
