I’m glad we didn’t get more of a “it’s been difficult” response. I trust McKenna to be honest in his reflections, even if he can’t always say it outright, but I think it’s a bit blinkered to take his answer as proof there were no issues at all.
To me, the “no, not really” reads more like “yes, but we’ve dealt with it,” once you strip away the straight-bat press conference setting.
What I’m absolutely sure of is that those in the ‘move on’ denial camp will make it painfully clear they think this means there was never any issue whatsoever - which quite simply isn’t the case. |  |

How do you propose the club are informed of discontent on Tuesday? They haven't cared the last week.
I'm not advocating for anything specific to happen on Monday, just pointing out that the logic from some posters doesn't really work for me.

Like say the best player in the world (pick whoever you think that is in your head) commits some kind of sexual offence. They are released from their club and can't get another club. I didn't once say I was for or against a protest on Monday. Please don't attribute things to me that I've not said.
My point about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome stands and I feel it is logically correct, you can email on Tuesday if you like, you'll get the same stock response you got the last time you emailed.

I've had a theory for a while, that if you drew a venn diagram of Reform supporters and those most vocally critical of the team, you'd have something close to a circle. Something about the mentality of nothing being as good as it used to be/false nostalgia that these types cling to.
On that basis, I suspect that if you dug into the posting history of lots of the "lets move on, we should all get behind the team" types, you'd find similar posts. [Post edited 2 Apr 16:30]
