The truth is I want what's best for the long-term future of our club.
Instant promotion was never essential for the long-term future of the club (although it would be good).
Being run by someone wholly unsuited to the vision of the club is harmful to its long-term future. Keep Ashton and get promoted and I firmly believe we will be far worse off than if we miss out on promotion, appoint a good chairman and a good CEO.
So, in order of priority:
Get rid of Ashton, unite in getting promoted and get a proper Premier League squad together.
Get rid of Ashton, stay down, get a Premier League squad together.
The most important thing is the long-term future of the club. |  |
