They may well be shocked and pissed off. That doesn't mean it has "detrimentally affected" their businesses. And it doesn't mean our chances of attracting future sponsors has been "detrimentally affected" either.
I imagine most future sponsors won't have even heard about it, or cared.
It's fine to be annoyed about this still, and it's fine to want Ashton to go. But there's no need to make up additional reasons to try to strengthen the case. It's strong enough already.
If sponsors were pulling out of the club, or if potential sponsors were cancelling their interest because of it, it would get out. There's no evidence of any of that, so far. |
