| "A whole civilization will die" on 13:42 - Apr 7 with 1109 views | DJR | Iran is one of the cradles of civilisation. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/ And for those who don't know, its name is derived from the word "Aryan", which as an Iranian on LBC pointed out has nothing to do with the Nazi conception of that term. "The Indo-Iranian peoples, also known as Ā́rya or Aryans from their self-designation, are a group of speakers of Indo-European languages who brought the offshoot Indo-Iranian languages to parts of Eurasia in waves from the first part of the 2nd millennium BC onwards." | | | |
| "A whole civilization will die" on 13:47 - Apr 7 with 1079 views | Zx1988 | Famous last words and all, but it feels to me as if he's making a number of increasingly unhinged and desperate attempts to encourage/force the Iranian population into rising up against the regime. I seem to recall that was one of his big messages after the first wave of attacks that took out the Ayatollah; "I've made the first move, it's now up to you to finish the job by bringing about regime change". I'm not sure 'rise up tonight or I'll kill you all' is going to have quite the effect he's hoping for. | |

A man who dodged serving his country due to heel bone spurs, is now Asking people to risk a very high percentage chance of death, torture or imprisonment to get him off the hook for a huge error of judgement Hmmm

he says he wants "less radicalized minds", and his method to achieve that is indiscriminate bombing of civilian infrastructure and "civilization collapse"? he needs sectioning fast

| Trump derangement syndrome message in full - and an interesting edit!! on 14:14 - Apr 7 with 891 views | unstableblue | Here’s what the Orange Man Baby (Fuhrage’s mate) wrote in full: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!” Now put these two ‘sentences’ together and you get something quite… errrr. Contradictory: “A whole civilisation will die tonight, never to be brought back again, God Bless the Great People of Iran!” [Post edited 7 Apr 14:16]

Just say he did though... the whole world wakes up wondering who's next? Who to seek protection from? What else will he demand from others? Mental. [Post edited 7 Apr 14:25]

I don't think there's any coherence to this at all, it's the rantings of an increasingly deranged man who - for the first time in a while - can't get what he wants. That's not exactly reassuring either but my guess would be that it's another empty threat and there won't be nuclear weapons used.

It is getting worrying now, he seemed like a mostly harmless Idiot first term. This one he is unhinged, no plan and over inflated idea of Americas power, now it’s been challenged and Iran has leverage he is panicking and unpredictable. I still can’t see him using nukes under any circumstances. I mean what is he going to achieve by wiping out Iran ? Probably end up with another TACO moment, hopefully.

Hallmarks of Frontotemporal Dementia: which I think he has, and so should be removed under the 25th. Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is characterised by early, progressive changes in personality, behaviour, or language due to atrophy in the brain’s frontal and temporal lobes. Key hallmarks include severe disinhibition, loss of empathy, compulsive behaviors, apathy, and language difficulties, often arising between ages 45-65 without early memory loss. Key Behavioral Hallmarks (Behavioral Variant FTD - bvFTD) - Disinhibition: Inappropriate social behavior, impulsive actions, loss of manners, and lack of empathy. - Apathy/Loss of Motivation: Reduced interest in work, hobbies, and social interaction. - Compulsive/Repetitive Behaviors: Hoarding, rigid routines, or repetitive humming/tapping. - Dietary Changes: Compulsive overeating, specific cravings for sweets/carbs, and poor table manners. - Loss of Insight: Lack of awareness regarding their behavioral changes. Key Language Hallmarks (Primary Progressive Aphasia - PPA) -Non-fluent Variant (nfPPA): Slow, hesitant, and effortful speech with grammatical errors. - Semantic Variant (svPPA): Inability to understand words or name objects, losing word meanings. Physical/Neurological Symptoms - Movement Issues: Rigidity, tremors, and slow movements, often similar to Parkinson’s disease or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). - Physical Decline: Difficulty swallowing, falls, and muscle weakness. FTD differs from Alzheimer's because it usually impacts social behavior and language before day-to-day memory, which is often preserved in early stages

If you are living in say Tehran and are subjugated by the machine that controls every aspect of life in that country, how exactly are you supposed to rise up against the regime? As it stands, you will be killed along with your family and everyone that knows you. It’s the same in Russia, China, N Korea and I’d bet Trump wants that level of control in America too - because he is never wrong. The reality is the people who dislike the regime are effectively imprisoned in Iran. They have no choice bar stay or escape if they can. Trump’s bombast is just that. An ignorant man who derives pleasure in delivering pain, control and extortion on others. His threats are as empty as his skull. Yes, he can kill a lot of people. Whoopee, sleep well. But I guarantee it will be utterly counter productive and he won’t do it anyway. And that’s the problem with threats. If you don’t carry them through, nothing you say after that is worth listening to. The man is heading for the padded room or the morgue. Hopefully the latter and soon. I don’t see how the sane in America can put up with this idiot for too much longer, but maybe the control he exerts these days is too powerful for opposition?

Hope thats true - we need to keep our hands clean. I'm sure someone will know better, but aren't the nukes flown directly from the US?

It won't be nukes. If the aim is to reopen the Hormuz Strait, it'd be a bit stupid detonating things that could end up making the area a radioactive hell hole that nothing could get through. I hope.

I think he's been as he is now for much of his life, and certainly well before he became President for the first time. Indeed, I don't see any decline in his cognitive ability if you hear him speaking. Of course, he is an inveterate liar but he's been that for a long time. "By the end of his first term, Trump had accumulated 30,573 untruths during his presidency — averaging about 21 erroneous claims a day." It also doesn't help that he he has no one sensible trying to hold him back. [Post edited 7 Apr 15:20]

I think along the same lines. The only thing 'wrong' with the Orange man is that he hasn't grown up. I see him as a sh*t stirrer who does it 'cos he gets away with it. He thinks it's clever in the same way a 10 year-old would. He acts like Biff from Back to the Future.

Sounds like he wants to drop some nukes on them. He has said in the past "Why have nukes if you're not going to use them".
