| We're miles ahead of them aren't we? 11:08 - Apr 13 with 1810 views | _CliveBaker_ | How many of their players start for us? I don't think any. I genuinely think all 9 of our bench starts for them, and that's not an exaggeration. Obviously we're the parachute bad boys and the recent Premier League spell should have left us with such a strong squad despite some departures and negative net spend last summer, but its remarkable how quickly we've overtaken them and by how much. They've clearly made a good appointment in Clement and can probably look forward to next season with some optimism, especially in a league where you can finish 1/3 down the table and get a playoff spot. Its going to be tough to out pace Wolves, Burnley, 1 of Spurs, West Ham, Forest, Leeds, not to mention at least a couple of us, Southampton, Boro, Wrexham, Brum who will spend again. Do Norwich have any spending power? | | | | |
| We're miles ahead of them aren't we? on 11:12 - Apr 13 with 1753 views | Stenvict | It just proves how poor the league is this season. A new manager bounce had them top of the form table since the start of the year, but we absolutely schooled them on Saturday. | |

| We're miles ahead of them aren't we? on 11:14 - Apr 13 with 1712 views | Basuco | I said the same with Mrs Basuco yesterday, it is a long long time since I saw no Norwich players that would not be in an East Anglian 11, I can only think that Amed would make the bench, but he is a long way behind Clarke and Philogene. But looked their best player. | | | |

Well, the reality is that FFP and limited commercial revenue means that's not so easy anymore fellas. You've sold the crown jewels now too, so be prepared to evolve into Championship also-rans at best!

Yes, individually, we have better players than Nodge but we are a much more coherent team with a clearer identity, approach and ethos.

| We're miles ahead of them aren't we? on 11:20 - Apr 13 with 1619 views | SomethingBlue | Fisher is a decent young talent and Makama, when back, will end up at a bigger club. But you're right, nobody we saw out there would get into our team and maybe not even the matchday squad. They'll have some financial wriggle room from getting a fantastic fee for a previously idle Sargent but beyond that it's hard to see what they can do without selling. | |

Truth is they’ve spunked millions over the years with eff all to show for it. And now they whinge about us having parachute payments. Stuff ‘em.

| We're miles ahead of them aren't we? on 11:26 - Apr 13 with 1531 views | Kievthegreat | When you think back to the previous meetings in 23/24: Sargeant, Sara, Nunez, Sainz, Rowe... They've all been replaced by Temu quality replacements. They've regressed massively in the attack and midfield as the last of vestiges of their premier league campaigns have been wasted. While I think this year has been far from plain sailing and we've struggled to adapt to teams seeking to stifle us at times, we are a stronger squad than that of 2 years ago. We have an opportunity to get another £100m worth of improvements to build towards a hopefully long term stay in the Premier League. They meanwhile have not got any big money sales lined up to bail them out like usual. We should be growing that gap further every year. | | | |

Errrr we stuffed em twice There was, to be fair something in that once, but not anymore, that was an outstanding performance of togetherness lead by an inspired captain Two coaches of staff and players turning up The delayed huddle in front of the scum The penalty handover The cameo performance The sheer passion at the end We have a proper team now.
| We're miles ahead of them aren't we? on 11:40 - Apr 13 with 1326 views | Steve_M | It was the inverse of so many derby matches from 2014 to 19, lots of endeavour from the home side but markedly more talented players being good enough to take chances and win comfortably. The one at PR after they got relegated in 2014 in particular. | |

| We're miles ahead of them aren't we? on 11:45 - Apr 13 with 1277 views | tractorboy1978 | We had them at arms length for the whole match really. On the balance of the quality of the chances, 2-0 actually flattered them as Azon should of had a third. That is with me disregarding the Hirst chance as he scored from the subsequent throw in. Will be interesting to see how they end the season now as it could easily all peter out. And even if they do end it well, it doesn't necessarily follow that the momentum carries into next season. They've got a good manager though and plenty of potential in their squad. For the joking about Mattsson vs Nunez, I thought he looked miles better than he did in the first game. And they've got the likes of Fisher, Makama, Ahmed, Makama, Slimane, Toure too. If a couple of those come good they will have saleable assets. | | | |
