And that’s why Boro have been left exposed with Hackney being out. We need to rest Taylor and Neil slots in with no loss (arguably a gain) of quality. Philogene out, Clarke comes in and delivers. Kipre out, Greaves steps up. Leif out, Johnson steps in. We’re not reliant on any one player and that’s been key. Arguably, O’Shea would be the hardest to replace if we lost him for a spell. Even with Matusiwa out, Nunez looks decent as a deeper lying playmaker. |  |

He was definitely less mobile and less influential than usual on Saturday. I think the fact we sat deeper than usual helped him get through the game, he mostly sat in and let Taylor do most of the running. He's so important to us though that I can see him starting but maybe coming off on 60 if we're ahead and comfortable. | |

Fair point, you wouldn't want Nunez instead of Azor in a battle and they do very different things when deep. O'Shea and Azor then where we don't have like for like replacements. Anywhere else I think we're covered.
There was a stat read out by the Sky commentator on Saturday; something like our last 20 goals have been scored by 10 different players. That sounded impressive (i've no idea if it is, but presumably it's noteworthy or they wouldn't have mentioned it). | |

Just noticed that Dozzell and Chaplin both started and finished for Portsmouth the other day.
Obvs not Chaplin tonight but it seems like a different era when they might do that for us.
