A really sad day.... 17:51 - Apr 16 with 4790 viewsBanksterDebtSlave

A little bit look at me but mostly I just wanted Bloots to know!!
Just this moment sent this....

Dear Sir/Madam
After some 16 years or so of having a season ticket that's it for me and my daughter. The Ashton/Farage debacle had pretty much made up my mind and now these price increases are the final straw. Money and corporate disregard/lack of accountability have done for me and I fear ultimately the game too.
Yours etc....

Nah just a few, I could list them, but its easier to just see who downvote my posts.

You are one, in case you're wondering 🙂

There are a few who I really like as well. They tend not to bleat on about Ashton, patronise anybody with a different opinion and dont act like sanctimonious berks.

Hope that clears it up.

Reading that third paragraph, you must really not like yourself very much, mate.

I may not understand your strength of feeling on the matter. More inclined to empathise with the costs argument. But agree, a sad day. Hope you're able to find your way back at some point.

Wouldn't it be 'boi"? 'Hev yew gort a loit boi?'

Not that I'm an expert in Norfolk dialects....

North Suffolk is boy/buh depending on context. However why someone from
Essex is using it to be disrespectful I’ve no idea. Let alone on a forum full of proper Suffolk people.

Norfolk sing their vowels so it has a more sustainable “Oi” sound that’s drawn out.

Yeah the Hampshire accent is a weird one. I still think nothing makes you sound dimmer tha a west country accent though. There's something a bit knowing about the Suffolk and Norfolk lilt.

I can't stand Farage, but I feel bad when one person (Ashton) makes a mistake and the entire club, working staff, players etc get tarred with the same brush.

You've stated the cost is a bit too much and fair enough on that point, but Ipswich town is not Ashton.

I really don't think the club have been too bad on the ticket pricing, perhaps i'm out of touch.

Shame to lose anyone who enjoys watching the game ultimately.

I think they’ve done a Cameron Burgess and followed up an own goal with another one. The Farage debacle made us a national laughing stock and angered the fanbase. Quickly followed by a price increase way above inflation and that realistically is chicken feed in terms of what the club brings in (and then wastes in terrible transfer windows).

Didn’t need to jack up the prices that much, and certainly not after already pissing off your fans. It shows quite clearly to me that the only person we have in charge is a David Brent-esque revenue-obsessed narcissist with nobody to keep him in check.

Yeah I like the Boi/buh thing, but then I like Anglia (even your part of it now I know it more!)

Re Saturday (was there a game?) i thought it best to retreat from the frontline, but I did pop up to offer congrats (through admittedly gritted teeth) just after. ...Important to clap your conquering foe!

It wasn’t a mistake it was deliberate, he lied about it to us and multiple people, and we now have social media/ the outside world/ some of our scummy fans aligning the club with Reform and their brand of fascism.

The fact he’s still in post is absolutely baffling. There aren’t many employers that wouldn’t have booted him the second it was shown he’d lied.
