Not liking the look of the bottom of the table. 21:35 - Apr 17 with 1137 viewsITFC_84

These West Brom/ Charlton games will have a HUGE importance on them for both home teams 😬

Hopefully means they might not sit back then.

Of course they are hugely important to us too

That will help.

Don't necessarily want teams to sit deep against but we also don't want them coming out all guns blazing with ambition and going a goal up. As we saw on Tuesday (and have seen all season) if we go behind we can find it difficult to get back into the game, and we also have a tendency of letting one goal quickly turn into two.

We haven’t been able to cope all season when grounds are rocking and teams get in our face.

Indeed, we have a shocking away record against the bottom half clubs & this really needs to change. However, 3pts on Sunday against an out of form Boro & our task will look manageable.

Let's hope Charlton get the job done at Hillsborough tomorrow. If they do, there's every chance they take their feet off the gas a bit in midweek. The West Brom game feels like a toughie as their predicament suggests they'll be right in the thick of it. But win on Sunday and Wednesday and we're almost there IMO.

Charlton play Sheffield Wednesday this weekend. Win that and they could be 8 points clear with 3 to play.

West Brom will definitely be fighting like their life depends on it.

Sadly I think we'll get 1 point max from those two games, they will want to stay up more than we want second as shown v Pompey.

I think it is time you found a club you feel you can support. Do you like yellow & Green?

WBA are currently under investigation by EFL and are aware any punishment will apply this season. They need a buffer in case of a points deduction.
