Wrexham or Hull for the final playoff spot, and why ? 01:49 - Apr 24 with 871 viewsKBsSocks

Wrexham for Broadhead, and also Moore, Hull for Greaves and Philogene indirectly and not being Hollywood. But also Wrexham for being Hollywood.

Help me decide, please.

Wrexham, complete underdogs - Hull not so much.

Also now Wrexham to get promoted. Sorry Millwall, Middlesboro, Soton, Hull ...

Edit: not sorry Soton.

Hull.

If we don't get second, I'd much rather face them than Wrexham.

If we do get second, the fawning over Wrexham in the Prem would reach unbearable levels.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Wrexham aren't underdogs, they're an expensively assembled machine backed by vast wealth, better they are kept in their place.

Hull stayed up on goal difference last season, they are definitely the underdogs, punched well above their weight this season. Came in off the back of a 2 window transfer ban and spent peanuts. It's a miracle they are even in the race. I'd much rather see them in the play-offs than Wrexham.

The hype around Wrexham is ridiculous, full credit to Phil Parkinson for doing a great job, but the Hollywood furore and virtually uncapped spending have done a lot of the heavy lifting there. I hope the bubble burst and they settle where they probably belong, which is League 1.

If we end up second Wrexham, if we end up in the PO Hull. Do not want to play Wrexham again

Hull.

I'd rather play them if we come 3rd, I'd also rather play them next season if we come 2nd and they went up via the playoffs. Not counting any chickens but if we do finish 2nd and ended up going up with Coventry and Hull or Millwall I don't think we could've really hoped for a better outcome in terms of prospects next season. Of course we'll still be fancied to drop, but its probably a stronger position than our 1st PL promotion in 20+ years and going up with Leicester and Southampton who had spent almost all of the previous 7-10 seasons or so at that level.

Hull have done so well to be up there given the transfer embargo situation and most tipped them to be nearer the bottom than top. I think they're a bit shit tbh, but Wrexham's last 2 fixtures don't look kind.

Derby - let them go up and see if they can break their iwn points record and they'll be able to afford a higher fee for szmodics

Obviously that's provided we complete our job and end up top 2

I have to say - despite all the hoopla around Wrexham, if they were able to get direct promotions from the National to the Premier league in consecutive seasons that would be one of the all time greatest feats in football, regardless of the cash involved (Fulham couldn't even manage two consec under Al Fayed 30 years ago when they were similarly endowed). Also they have stuck by an unfashionable, but possibly the most under-rated manager in English football. I also like the way they play - feels reminiscent of our have-a-go heroes a couple of years ago.

From a purely Town perspective though - definitely Hull as we have a much better chance in a play-off semi: we will definitely lose to Wrexham.

Easy. Wrexham for Broady. Greaves and Philogene can get their promotion fix with us rather than their ghosts with Hull.

And besides, the whole Tigers (grrr) thing is cringe.

FUlham were in Div2 (the now league 1) when Al Fayed took over so not the same.

Wrexham pretty much had a League 1 team in the National league.....so it's not that impressive.

However, despite people saying they would do wellt his season, I thought they'd get unstuck and struggle a bit. However they've done quite well.

I'd still prefer Hull so we have a break from the minute by minute Wrexham updates.
