Either that or there are two more in form right wingers in the squad and would have been unwise to have had a third on the bench. No, we'll go with a cover up.

Makes sense, seeing as after his disappearance from the squad, we've whipped out Johnson!

I really don't think it's a great idea to give attention seekers attention even to mock them.

My first thought when something like this is posted - how on earth does *this* no-mark know all the detail when even the players do not?

I think this is a meme - sure I've seen something almost word for word about another player at another club

It's a meme, the original dates back to when James Rodriguez was at Everton

It 100% is

But can I ask the forum a question about training with the first team v training and then playing u21 football?

I meantioned it a couple months back that I felt he and the team would be better off if he trained but then finished the season playing u21 football as he'd get a bit of confidence back, be playing football etc and people didn't like that.

So just curious from the footballing aspect.. would you genuinely get more from training and travelling with the first team and not getting minutes, or would playing u21 in the pl2 level be worthwhile just to keep the legs ticking over etc..

Obviously the Norwegian kids will be throwing away their crappy Haaland city shirts for an Ipswich Town SWE shirt!

He gets minutes in the first team. He also gets minutes playing for his country's u21 team, and looks extremely good in the u21s, almost a man in a boys' team.
