Think it's just the normal attitude towards the parachute money teams when there is a better fairy-tale in town (Coventry/Lampard, Wrexham, Millwall).

That's still decades! McAulay was 15 years ago, de Vos 18 years, Mowbray 26 years. And the other 4 you're talking 30+ years.

O'Shea is a more 'complete' footballer than all of those you've listed - I do think for now Mogga was a more influential CB for us, but O'Shea has it all, technically, with the exception as on the thread maybe he should be hitting the back of the net more.

Considering O Shea's previous experience it is great to see how much he has come on with us. Testimony again to how we coach players.
2 players I am intrigued to see back in the premier league - O Shea and the other is Jack Clarke - can he finally make the step up.
