This really is dreadful business. 7M and a 3 year deal for a 30YO coming off a career worst season.
Last started on New Years Day so KM clearly does not fancy him but I'm not sure what we are even going to be able to do with him. Do you loan him out or just sell him for whatever you can get? | | | |

It’s easy to be wise after the event but in this instance you can see why we wanted a deal that would only go perm if we went up. It’s probably the 1 of the 3 were stung on (assuming we don’t sign Cajuste), but in the context of premier league money I don’t suppose we’ll be losing too much sleep over it. He’ll either stick around as a bit of experience or we’ll get him out for a chunky loan fee and look to recoup what we can. |  | | |

True and I liked AAH in that run in, never looked as lively after his surgery and was neither fit nor strong enough for the PL. Nor since then has he looked the same player he was when we first signed him.
I think Akpom might be strong enough if not good enough.
If either is in the squad in September it will have gone wrong a bit. | |
