Making arrangements to pay council tax on a "property" that isn't permissible to be used as such* would be a bold move and one unlikely to end well, I'd speculate. Not something I'm overly exercised about, alternative lifestyles like this, lived out on the margins of society and the law, providing they don't harm others and providing take-up remains very modest (if we all opted to clandestinely live on these boats then that would be a worry!).

It's another layer to the man's origin story though, however one feels about the degree of misdemeanour.

This for me is the bigger problem. They need to decide what their policies actually are. They are still in that insurgent space where their policies are whatever you want them to be. They throw so much out there that people can hear what they want to hear and that is enough to garner votes from the 'I'm not voting for any of the other lot' crowd. At some point they are going to need to rationalise policy into something coherent and at that point it all gets real.

The even bigger concern is that seemingly for many of their voters, it doesn't even matter if their policies are wafer thin and unworkable. It doesn't matter if the representatives they vote for are racist, or corrupt, or don't want to do the job they've been elected for.

My comments were just a general observation which you are included in but not exclusively to. The fact that you started the thread is inconsequential as others become part of it.

I think we all know that you might well have blocked Dolly but you log-out to read any posts that might well have been directed at you - your ego dictates that you will want to know.
