Almost like they have edited it to show things a certain way. But it allows you to sneer at people so it has done its job.
My post wasn't sneering, just pointing out the ability of the right to come up with pithy slogans, catchphrases and the like which cut through both politically and into everyday speech.
To me, things are a bit more complicated than that.

It’s a useful tell, because as soon as you hear those words and slogans you know exactly where they’re getting their paranoia from and know they’ll have no interest in questioning or verifying those claims. Things certainly are more complicated than a slogan. Nothing some that up like to utterly meaningless Brexit Means Brexit.

"Oven ready deal" and "Get Brexit done" spring to mind too.

You think they may have edited out the bits we're the lads talk about the incredible positive impact immigration as had on the UK and beg for more Muslims to move over?

Well at least you got the joke. Unlike Chelters and Dollers who obviously lack a sense of humour.
Ooh, am I back off the naughty step?!
I'm an award-winning comedian (literally one award, the smallest plastic trophy you've ever seen) so I like to think I have a sense of humour. But I didn't (and still don't) get your joke.
