Would we be back in for him? Can't help but think he's miles better than anyone we have here currently and would be a good addition.

He was sold to Strasbourg for 17m and played most of their games so he wouldn't be cheap

Plays regularly for Strasbourg so can't see them let him go for anything under £25m

Not sure he'd be worth that in my opinion. Always felt like he held onto the ball a bit too long and we already have Mehmeti to do that

He is miles better than anything we have but that's a deal that wont happen.

I liked him tbh. Really talented. He certainly wanted his own ball at times but you need players like that sometimes who can create something out of nothing. Lots of our fans dont that's why so many cry at the fact Delap wasn't a team player or something like that.

I wouldn't rule it out. Age 22 is a profile we like. £22-25 mil is the sort of fee we would expect to pay.

I caught their two Conference League semi-final games and he looked a bit lost there, saw very little of the ball.

I liked him. Seemed a fun character too and is young.

It is a lot of money for him and from what I remember, he’s got an awful lot to learn as you point to in your second paragraph.

Lightweight too. Something we need desperately to move away from. We can get away with a couple but...

Too lightweight. We need to get away from that. We need physical athletic types who don’t get bullied and can run all day.

No. But we are already a small, relatively slow and relatively lightweight side.

Hope not, I liked his enthusiasm and ocassional maverick bits of brilliance, but ultimately I don't think he's quite good enough for the PL. I would have no problem with one maverick who most definitely is though. Recruitment just needs to go out and find him!

No, but players who do not have size on their side need a bit more to their game than Encisco. The physicality of the Premier League players compared to ours was key last time.

I dont disagree but in certain positions you can sacrifice a little bit of power for skill and technique.

Worked for Enzo le Fee.

It would certainly help. Our team is very lightweight as it stands now. Yes, the odd skilful smaller nippy player is fine, but we got caught out last time. We really don’t want to make the same mistake.

It's great to have players who can beat a man and make things happen. But those players also need to mix it up and bring other players in or they become predictable and easy to play against.

That’s the sort of money we need to be paying as a minimum. £10-20m gets you a Championship player these days.

Of course it would help to add physicality ive been beating that drum all season on here after last summers business.

But I see us signing anywhere between 10-12. Not all of those players are going to be 6'3 and build like a wall. Something this team also misses is someone who can put their foot on the ball and retain possession. Not saying that's enciso btw but those sorts of players tend to (not always) be a bit slighter and maybe not as powerful.

Do they have to be able to play football as well?
