| who if kmc does go.... 10:37 - Jun 1 with 1342 views | keanekipper | Just some idle speculation if kmc does go who and what would people fancy as the next manager? A proven safety manager like dyche? a young high level coach like mckenna? a football league hot property? a foreign unknown with good results and reputation.? A name which recently failed like frank? I think at this stage of the club development i would be inclined to go for dyche, we need to stay in the prem and establish, he would also give us a great chance of coming back again. | | | | |

| who if kmc does go.... on 10:45 - Jun 1 with 1203 views | wrightsrightglove | I think we need a coach first and foremost. All of our success so far has been built on improving players so we need someone who can continue that, and I don’t think we have the players to play in a way that a Dyche type would want to play. I wouldn’t be adverse to a head coach with a director of football type set up. I’ve long banged the drum for Anthony Barry when the inevitable happens as I think he’s a very similar coach to McKenna. Not saying he would keep us up necessarily but I think longer term he would make us a stronger team | | | |
| who if kmc does go.... on 10:46 - Jun 1 with 1192 views | JammyDodgerrr | If we went from McKenna to Dyche, i'd probably pack it in. That would be awful. There isn't any immediate name that pops into my head. Frank seems to be the obvious choice but we don't really know how good he is. Clubs should be wary of any manager that has been at Brentford/Brighton IMO. Those clubs succeed because of all the systems, and the manager is just a part of it. I would've said Danny Rohl 12 months ago but not so sure now. | |

His Hull team were regularly criticised by their own fans for being really dull and not maximising the talent they had. His Chelsea team was awful as well.

From 1st to 5th in his first role here isn't a great look, think he needs another season to prove out his apparent potential.

Agreed TalkSport reporting…. by Plums 1 Jun 12:57I'm very wary about Frank. The success of Brentford is built on the infrastructure and footballing DNA of the club, the manager is charged with implementing that.
Frank did a great job of it and Andrews has now picked up the baton. There's nothing from Frank's tenure at Spurs that says anything other than he struggled in the PL without that in place.
If we lose KM, we're in for root and branch change which is high risk and potentially, high reward.
Whatever will be, will be. But I'm not convinced the answer is Frank.

"His Hull team were regularly criticised by their own fans for being really dull and not maximising the talent they had" Substitute Ipswich for Hull, and there have been plenty of Town fans who said the same about Kieran at times - even back from as early as 22/23. Fans are fickle. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not - but I believe that Rosenior is fundamentally a good coach. Not that I want to find out - much prefer to see Kieran stay, and continue to build his legacy as (potentially) in the top 3 of managers we've had.
