3 days in.

I figured there would be some football to watch. Perhaps lots. So far I saw half of the Mexico game and was irritated by the awful excessive refereeing. But at least it was a game. Nothing last night after I got in.

Qatar v Swizterland today ... Not really of any interest at all.

Brazil Morocco- 11pm kick off. Too late to bother with. Scotland at 2am so no chance.

Feels very odd.

So you didn't get to see the USa game. They moved the ball quickly through midfield and then attacked at speed. Threw numerous crosses over. They were incredibly fit and defended well and great on the recovery. Yes only Panama including Enciso as well, but it was football that is exciting and good to watch...just like Potch at Spurs.

I've watched Mexico and Canada and thought both games were pretty good. Missed the US game but they looked decent from the highlights.

Yes a World Cup on the other side of the world throws up some strange KO times, what a shock, that’s what the WC is about, the novelty of it.

Qatar v Switzerland not really of an interest at all? Bah. It’s the World Cup, all the games are of an interest.

A live football game at 23:00 on a Saturday night? Yes please. Brazil one of the teams you have to watch at World Cup.

Scotland at 2am, come on the Scots I say, hope George Hirst gets some action.

I’ll probably leave it there, Australia v Turkey at 5am may be a step too far.

They basically do for the big European teams but apparently that’s not enough.

The semi finals are also midweek during the American working day because of TV numbers in Europe.

I was astonished by the States,they’ve been keeping that performance possibility a secret… Paraguay are a good solid fighting team that punch above their weight normally… so not shyte.
Regarding the viewing of the World Cup, I do recall the ‘94 edition with the added lack of English interest making it a very much pass you by event back then…. Forgettable.
This time I’m in the right time zone and England are there but so far the same feeling.
That will change come the knockout rounds I’m certain.

No, considering we haven’t seen a top 10 ranked team yet, I’d say it’s been really pretty good with some open attacking football.

I’ll have a Google. I saw one post from a German fan who discovered Buc-ees for the first time. We drove two hours off our route last year when we saw a Buc-ees sign. Love that place.

Always like to see the home nations do well, but at the same time it would be funny if they fluff it. I know they hate us, I see it as a bit like us and Colchester.

Two of my daughters are off to the pub in 15 minutes to watch the game. They are going to be sh1t faced before kick off at 2am.

The whole bloody street is festooned with Scotland flags and bunting. One neighbour even has a bloody great tifo attached to this house.

I’ve had to restrict my England flags and bunting to the back garden as I value my windows.

Makes me laugh whenever Scotland get to a tournament & there is a massive love in for their national anthem.
