Nonsense. 1 game ban was fine for the challenge, no issue with that as they are the rules, but to upgrade THAT particular challenge to a 2 game ban seems excessive. |  | | |

Yeah my mistake, I thought a straight red was a 2 match ban like PL so it was my error. I realised after they have upgraded this and that is a joke anyway as it doesn't warrant more he got the ball and unfortunate to roll over it onto the player. There have always been iffy decisions within football. A game I have loved since I was a kid.
But I cannot recall a direct intervention like the one by Trump.
What right does he have to interfere with the workings and rules of football and what right does infantino have to apply laws differently from one nation to another.
The England player has a two match ban for a very similar offence to that commited by the American whose one match ban was removed.
We have no right to appeal. What lesson does this show to others when a tournament takes place in their country.
We already have cheating on a large scale in many sports. Which brings the whole thing back to money and greed.
It sickens me to see large swathes of people with absolutely no interest in the game sitting in the best positions in the house for free, when die hard fans either cannot get a ticket or cannot afford one due to sky high prices.
