Has Zack Polanski gone too far?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

Sometimes I think about the frothing lunatics I’ve put on ignore, who will have kept replying to me again and again, but I don’t even realise they exist.

And ?

have you heard the phrase "damning with faint praise"?

if someone speaks more highly of weapons-grade loons like rupert lowe and nigel farage, it's not a great character reference!

I think he’s a nice bloke.

End of.

Yeah but, you also like Nigel Farage…..

Character assessment clearly not very high on your skills list.

Sometimes I giggle about the frothing lunatic who’s put me on ignore and now has to constantly log out to see what I’ve said. Beneath that counterfeit persona lurks the same pitifully desperate egomaniac.

You don't need to be a mind reader to see what Glassers is doing, just modicum of intelligence and a healthy dose of scepticism. It also helps if the poster is well known for this sort of thing. Several people have seen through it.

If you think Glassers posts things innocently and with no agenda then more fool you.

Well you obviously can’t read mine, otherwise you’d have picked up that I was referring to more than this thread and one poster.

Not that anyone needed to be a mind reader to get that - the clue was there in “I never cease to be amazed …”

A certain element on here wanted him to come back not that long ago when he was just seen as a banned racist poster because it would upset the libs.

The post has been culled now but there was just an attempt to rewrite history to make out that never happened.

Some of us only knew of his “behind the training ground bushes” reports, and knew nothing of the other stuff (or it was so long ago that our fallible memories have forgotten it).

Given you were replying to someone replying to me, I can surely be forgiven for thinking your comment was at least partially aimed at me. Particularly as I had inferred (mind read) what Glassers was doing in his OP.

It would be a weird thing to say, and a weird place to put it, if I wasn't a little bit in your thoughts.

I'm not sure the phrase “I never cease to be amazed …” is much of a clue. It's a general comment that can equally sit nicely when referring to one person.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

It wasn’t in the slightest bit aimed at you, you weren’t even remotely in my mind at the time. I was replying specifically and only to TownieRob.

And the phrase I used was referenced specifically to posts and posters on this site.

All the posts are gone from the database but there was a thread (more than one) about allowing banned posters back and his name was mentioned numerous times by certain posters across those threads.

For the avoidance of doubt, this was before the latest horrible revelations and when he was banned for racism.

I suspect Phil doesn't want it dragged up though so I'll also leave it there.

....of his racism from ages ago.

He could barely talk about I footballer without mentioning the colour of his skin.

I called him out on it and was shouted down by some on here.

The "other stuff" obviously wasn't obvious, but he was always very strange.

Thanks for the info, maybe I’d forgotten or was taking a break. I certainly remember a different poster on here getting away with that for years, but he’s now banned too, although reportedly for something else).

(Phil - please feel free to delete this if you want, don’t want to cause more work for you).

Yes

The more I see and hear from Polanski the more I wince. Am a massive fan of Caroline Lucas - I guess Polanski appeals to the younguns but he does seem very poor in comparison.

Top political analysis.

It’s probably worth pointing out your buddy Farage is no oil painting…..

Unless a dopey, racist frog sucking a wasp floats your boat and gets you up and ready in the morning to hang some flags, once the lamp post has cooled down, obvs…..
