| Nunez 19:24 - Aug 2 with 2213 views | EssexBloo | What’s his best position? Is he naturally more of a central midfielder but got forced to play more advanced last year? | | | | |
| Nunez on 19:26 - Aug 2 with 2177 views | Wallingford_Boy | I don’t think CDM is for him, not sure he’ll be starting much this season. | |

| Nunez on 19:27 - Aug 2 with 2180 views | burnbudgiesburn | CM I think at best this season he'll be a utility player from the bench. But he's the type of player who gives our squad a lot more quality in depth from the bench than we had 2 years ago. | | | |

His best position is in front of the 'Snakepit-lol' doing wakner signs, but he won't get to play there for us again, I suspect.

| Nunez on 19:33 - Aug 2 with 2088 views | Yallop2 | Yeah I agree he looks better deeper playing forward. Really creative. Back to goal he didn't seem to fit quite as well although there were a few games where linked up well. | | | |

| Nunez on 20:05 - Aug 2 with 1880 views | ThatMuhrenCross | I much prefer him as a deep-lying playmaker. He was used as a 10 more due to lack of options last season, but I’m more than happy leaving that one to Mehmeti and Enciso to battle out this time around. Nuñez isn’t mobile or agile enough for that role. He’ll do a job off the bench here and there in CM I’m sure. | |

| Nunez on 20:30 - Aug 2 with 1702 views | Len_Brennan | We're going to be more adaptable this season, so not just wedded to a 4-2-3-1 or hybrid 5--2--2-1/3-4-2-1 formations. For me, Nunez would be best as part of a 3 man midfield, and with the likes of Fatawu & Maeda capable of playing either side of Emersonn or another centre forward, I could see us line up at times in a 4-3-3. Nunez could provide that bit of creativity for the forwards, playing alongside ball winners such as Matusiwa & Florentino Luis. | |

Think he'll struggle to much game time in any position.

He could well be a surprise exit before the season starts. Probably not back to Nodge tho!

Exactly this in the midfield 3. If we're playing an elite team where Town are sitting 5 at the back and 3 in the midfield Nunez is perfectly capable of just running like a terrier for 60 minutes after whomever has the ball allowing Luis (assuming they sign today) and Matusiwa to cut off the passing lanes. FL and AM can both do short passes if the ball is won back but Nunez gives you that quarterback release for the perfect long ball up to the front man. Against elite CBs like Guehi, Gabriel or Saliba you're unlikely to win most of those duels but you only need one for the striker to be in.

He's an option, but we need more bodies in those various central midfield positions playing creative roles.
| Nunez on 18:14 - Aug 3 with 490 views | Dubtractor | I think he could be decent as part of a midfield 3, but is far too careless with the ball as part of a DM 2, unless chasing the game. | |
