No it's town who are so ridiculously slow at doing any deals why I believe between now and the 22nd if we have one more through the door that would be realistic not the 3-4 most are going on about,
Also ensico who to me would be a stellar signing is so difficult to do because Chelsea dictate what Strasbourg do in buying selling or loaning,

Always seems so slow from the first scoop of we're signing XXX to xxx signing if they do to me,
Maybe 90% of the deal is done before the scoop is announced so not as bad as it looks, but seems were slow at doing deals,that's all,

Wouldn't take anything from the social media likes - his team probably just have a script that auto likes every post that was set up the last time he was here.
I do find it strange how the club put out messaging to local media about how confident we were that we would get a deal completed for Enciso. Feels like a really tricky deal to do with BluCo.
I’m sure we want a route to get Enciso here permanently - but given the fee involved might want a loan with an obligation to delay payment for a year.
Wonder if Chelsea are trying to extract some profit from the deal - they could do this in theory by selling Enciso to Chelsea, and the loaning to Town with an obligation.

I wouldn't want the job of negotiations and the implications regarding these as of course a loan and wages is viewed differently to an outright purchase with regards to fair play rules. I would imagine there must be some sort of spreadsheet that tracks overall spending and this is where deals such as these dragging on might hinder purchases of other players.
I suppose it's all down to headroom. What we have spent against what we have to spend from then on and of course there's a January window to take into consideration as well because you don't want injuries, suspensions or lack of form/cover to be hamstrung by lack of available funds. | | | |

The first 'scoop' is rarely going to be initiated by the club, so we have absolutely no idea how long deals take, but they have so many moving parts, each one will be unique.
I think we're pretty standard operators, nothing slow about it, it's often like a house sale, there's a chain of events, player won't be allowed to leave until replacement identified and that chain could have any number of deals associated with it. |  | | |
