Could also just be taking no chances with minor niggles.
Ideally you would want Florentino to play more than 45 mins pre-season before his league debut so it suggests that rather than simple rotation. | | | |

Sindre 10 I’m sure. Will be interesting to see which way round Clarke and Maeda play though. Clarke never looks comfortable on the right and I don’t think Maeda likes playing there either. | | | |

Probably just trying a different formation, ie he still wants Leif to bomb forward and then the rest of the defence shifts left, with 3 CBs and Dara then in a sort of right sided CB position. And he just feels Dara is suited to that than a Furlong. Furlong would be used in a traditional back 4 setup, when we play that formation |  | | |

Agreed. Barring injuries this should be considered a warm up game for next week, and so far it’s been a breath of fresh air seeing players playing largely in their preferred positions. Cannot understand why we’d change that in our final game. Don’t like it. | | | |
