I’m pretty easily findable, I’m sure if any of our *definitely not racist* friends have a problem with what I’ve said they can seek me out - it wouldn’t be the first time.

| Ashton on 08:48 - Aug 22 by Swansea_Blue | I don’t think that’s fair. It’s a bit of a cult so some may just be in it without realising what they’re standing for, just because Nigel’s ‘standing up for them’ (lol), or ‘sticking it to the establishment’ (lol), or ‘winding up the right people’ (sigh). Undoubtedly they will have a higher proportion of racist followers, but it’s a bit of a leap to assume all are. |
When their rhetoric and statements are so clearly and consistently racist I think we are past that point. If you stand for Reform you stand for their racism and intolerance. Maybe when they first emerged (but given it was Farage I doubt it) you could argue some people might have been hoodwinked but not now

I think you’re assuming most of them actually do much, if any, thinking. (Edit: I meant those who vote for Far rage/Reform, but I suppose it could just as well apply to its MPs, whose motives are power and greed, unencumbered by any thoughts as to what might actually be best for their constituents and country). | Ashton on 08:42 - Aug 22 by Mullet | As you’re sat doing the exact same thing? There’s nothing controversial about Reform being racists or relying on people’s racism for support. Any of you promoting them or siding with them are racist by default, you can dress it up however you want but that’s a fact. Not all racists support Reform, but but all Reform supporters are racist by their actions. |
right..so what you are saying is that Ashton is a fully blown racist?

Ashton is a total w@nker, but that isn’t what Mullet suggested in any way shape or form. As far as we’re all aware, Ashton doesn’t ’stand for reform’ - but it is fair to ask what his relation to the party actually is and where his personal morales and ethics lay, after what was a ridiculous series of self harming events for both modest Mark, himself and the football club. These are questions that would have been asked if he’d spoken to any media about this, undoubtedly - but Mark decided to only talk to in house media, “running towards adversity” indeed… As I read it, Mullet was talking about your everyday voter. If he votes for them yes. Although I can’t tell if you’re being genuinely stupid or think this was some kind of gotcha you’ve spent ages thinking up. He’s certainly a liar lead by his ego and desperation for approval etc. in this instance. What he did supported a racist and racist party, that’s why any decent Ipswich fan is upset by it.

Because my professional role is public facing, mate - I’m relatively well known in niche circles away from football, as such I have a digital foootprint that includes me taking to actors, directors, artists, hosting live events, writing for outlets, etc. When my Great Uncle passed recently I shared about it on here, there were articles in the paper and match day programme as he was a big character and also known to many people, over his 80+ seasons following the town, working in youth football in Suffolk and being involved in many other organisations, clubs, etc. Essentially, if someone wants to know the man behind the account, it’s not hard to find and I’m not making effort to hide it. I’m fine- what usually happens is a very angry middle aged man approaches me, they realise I’m exactly the same in real life as I am on the internet and they either scurry away or have the piss taken out of them mercilessly. Shall I expect to see you this afternoon? xoxo [Post edited 22 Aug 10:17]
