Yep. I don’t know what’s gone wrong for him. He was class at times for us and I thought he could kick on, but then last year he seemed short on confidence on the pitch. And there’s no way he should have been letting Dykes get in ahead of him in the Scotland team. I don’t know whether it’s a lack of belief or injuries and fitness taking the edge off his game. |  |

Scotland giving a squad place to Hirst over McBurnie was an absolutely honking decision.
I liked George and he did some great things for us but I think he was above his level with us. Stoke is probably about right although a 10million package seems steep. Great business for us. |  |

Shootouts are generally in Cups, and I can't say I'm totally convinced that McKenna gave two hoots about Cups in general. Losing in a shootout was one of the better outcomes that we used to achieve in cup competitions. |  | | |
