Quite. It’s no surprise our Championship players aren’t mixing it up against some very good players. It’s not for want of trying or effort.

| Nunez on 21:35 - Sep 15 with 2395 views | MVBlue | It is worth saying. He'll have to pick himself up after this. A similar lack of height to a pass like Liverpool leading to a goal. Trying to play through balls to nobody. Ah dear. He'll need to think about how he plays against the top teams. Conversely Kipre and Jaden did well. | |

Pretty much nailed it there.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

He looked competent enough against Sunderland and first half at Old Trafford. But let's write him off after one poor performance in a team full of reserves.

He was fine against MU and terrific v Sunderland. He’s a lovely player and a great character. I think he will play a big part this season. The first team needs work and time. So does the squad. Players establishing themselves faster than others as is normal. I was pretty much in a minority in not writing off Jack Clarke before the season started. Early days but he proved me right. I worried about Leif Davis. He’s proved me wrong. My opinion is let’s get to the break and see how we look in October before anyone is written off including JP.
| Nunez on 08:32 - Sep 16 with 1375 views | RobTheMonk | He's a pretty good pressing player, but I don't think that's what was needed. There were times he was very far forward leaving Florentino to cover all of midfield. Does seem that he can run hot and cold though. | | | |

He cost us more than Maeda though and he was expected to step up from Champ, he came here to play in the Prem

Kipre was poor last night... their goals he was involved in which where preventable
| Nunez on 14:49 - Sep 16 with 931 views | cressi | Far from the worst for me a decent squad player think a few will leave in January as so we can bring in better in areas required I don't believe he will be one of them. | | | |

| Nunez on 16:54 - Sep 16 with 722 views | tetchris | I think we have bigger problems than Nunez. I don’t know who our defensive coach is but he needs sacking immediately! Leaking goals left right and centre. I just wish GON would give up with O’Shea playing at right back as he needs to be in the centre directing the defence. We will get relegated if we continue to defend as badly as we have so far. | | | |

Lots of talk about needing an extra CM against the best team. Think in some games him playing in the 10 role would give us that with Palacios and Florentino/Lukic behind him. In our system he's not quite a 10 and not quite a CM but against the best teams maybe that's what we need. That would require Enciso to play more off one wing but think those roles are often coming inside anyway so less of an issue.
