It’s very worrying that he is even more vulnerable. His granddad must be in bits too as it was him he ran off from it seems.
There’s nothing worse than turning around thinking your kid has got lost or isn’t there any more even for a split second.
Really impressive that people have dropped everything to help although it sounds like some have been using it for negative ends on social media too. | |

I think Suffolk Police are trying to coordinate things. The challenge is they will be trying to use thermal imaging cameras with drones etc and the more 'bodies' there are randomly around means more time trying to identify that heat source. I can understand why everyone would be so desperate to get out and help the poor boy and family.

They do indeed. I spent a few hours over there searching this afternoon. The organised search took us down the river from Brantham to Flatford.
We had heard the specialist divers had arrived and the coastguard helicopter spent a long time in the same spot so had thought something might have happened as we headed back. Half way home the news was confirmed.
