Cov and Hull are our obvious targets based on squad strengths but there are clubs I'd rather see go for sure. Some twitchy owners in the next few weeks I reckon.

Man City and Spurs going down would be hilarious. Add Man Utd in for a laugh, what a trio that would be.

Bournemouth and Fulham currently looking a good bet for a season of struggle, both having changed manager after a very successful one left in the Summer, and both look very poor to date. Spurs will surely improve, won't they? Sunderland could be set for second season syndrome after unexpectedly qualifying for Europe. Where have I seen that one before...... Last season they had a watertight defence which won them a lot of points, but that's not the case so far this season. Outside of that it's probably us, Hull, Coventry and Palace that could get get pulled into the mix.

| I dont get the bemoaning between the promoted clubs on 23:34 - Oct 12 with 1309 views | armchaircritic59 | Well having looked at the league table after tonights match, the lowest place promoted side is 14th, and 2 are in the top half of the table. Only 6 matches in of course, but what a boost to those fighting to get in the PL next season if all 3 of us stayed up, it would show after last season as well that the PL is no longer a " closed shop ". I'd actually love to see it happen, not sure it will, but even 2 of us would be terrific. | | | |
| I dont get the bemoaning between the promoted clubs on 06:20 - Oct 13 with 983 views | Battersea_Blue | Hopefully last season was the start of a trend, with Sunderland and Leeds staying up. Terrific result for Coventry last night, will be an interesting game when we go there Would love all 3 of us promoted clubs to stay up, with Man City, Spurs and Newcastle getting relegated. | | | |

| I dont get the bemoaning between the promoted clubs on 06:57 - Oct 13 with 900 views | Len_Brennan | We're only 6 games in with many clubs still somewhat unsettled, after a change of manager and/or a big upheaval during the transfer window. Make no mistake, we will want to make sure that Hull & Coventry are beneath us in the table come May, as most of those other sides will put runs together & pull away from the bottom 3. A change of manager for Fulham perhaps, the return of Alex Scott for Bournemouth etc. can make things look very differently, very quickly. I do believe that, of the 3 promoted sides, we have the highest ceiling for improvement in our play/teamworking as the season goes on, so with Man City looking likely to lose relegation levels of points, we should only need 2 other sides to finish below us to stay up; Hull & Coventry are still the most likely candidates, so I don't mind placing the overall best interests of the league to one side for this campaign. | |

It's nonsense at this stage of the season to be claiming anything.

| I dont get the bemoaning between the promoted clubs on 11:02 - Oct 13 with 470 views | Smoresy | It would. Just means we'd need to reset our likely target. Look at last season: two survived and 39 points got you relegated. In recent years two promoted clubs have finish shy of 25. Add City as their plus-one and conceivably we'd have felt a third of the way there already. Hey ho, will be good entertainment for the neutral if all three of us are able to keep this up. | | | |
| I dont get the bemoaning between the promoted clubs on 11:11 - Oct 13 with 426 views | J2BLUE | Over 38 games Coventry and Hull are the best candidates for the bottom three so I will keep hoping they lose. If we are safe at some point then I will hope they join us staying up. Until then, the more points they drop the better. | | | |

Last night was a great result for Frank Lampards Coventry City, but boy were they gifted at least 3 goals by an absolute d0gsh1t Newcastle team. Would love to be playing Newcastle soon, I think we would rip them a new one.

And Forest. There are an encouraging number of teams that will be properly in this relegation fight well into the season for me. Bournemouth and Sunderland haven’t even started playing in Europe yet and they are already struggling. I don’t see us stringing 3+ wins together at any point. But then I don’t see the likes of Fulham, Palace, Forest, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Coventry, Hull doing it either. We’ve built ourselves a nice little buffer over a few of them already.

We couldn't beat Leicester or Southampton last time we were up, and they were a lot worse than that Newcastle side is, so credit to Coventry for doing the business and getting the win. It's hard at this level.
