Real talk. The main reason he's so disliked is that he dared to cross a section of the fanbase by saying nice things about Mick. Which completely ignores the fact that players who have played for Mick always say that he's a top bloke.

I do not agree one bit with anyone who doesn't like him because he said some nice things about Mick. Mick gave him the chance to come to a great league, been paid a shed load of money, Mick was v loyal to Knudsen and has had some great memories under Mick, especially against the scum.
If people don't like him for his footballing ability ok, if people don't like him because he wanted to leave ok.
What i would say, Kenlock has performed v well last 2 games, probably his best performances, don't think it will be a bigger loss than originally thought.
Also suspect he won't be taking home peanuts, and a chance to get him off the wage bill dropping into league 1, its the best decision for all parties imo. |  |

Thats complete rubbish. The amount of stick that our home grown players get , when we traditionally are supposed to pride ourselves on bringing through our own, is quite often daft and we overload them with expectation. Miles has made ricks but he's young and is improving and should be supported as thus. Jonas, along with others, hasn't had a great season and and is looking to leave which doesn't excuse some of the stick that he's had because of the historic Mick stuff.

Jonas Knudsen undoubtably has a right to defend his manager if he sees fit.
However, The problem with Knudsen was he that he saw himself to be a much better player than he really is and to say he would now consider his position at this Club ( on hearing that MM had been sacked), like he was some kind of messiah to Ipswich Town FC. I believe Knudsen was the person to coin the phrase “ be careful what you wish for” .
On returning from the World Cup he then moans that the Club had “ not even spoken to him about his contract” . It was clear he was trying to orchestrate a move away from the Club. The rest is history , and so is he. Vastly overrated ( by himself). Another example of s player thinking himself to be bigger than this Club. Adios Jonas Knudsen. |  |

ArnieM states in his first paragraph that he has the right to defend his ex manager.
Whilst I believe that you should always try and excel and for him to want to play at the highest level, but one you have to have a realisation to know your worth, he’s a low end championship player, available on a free to the continent in January, no one took him. Sure he’ll find a club, but should have kept his mouth shut, get on with his game and leave his agent to do the business behind the scenes.
But that’s just my opinion. | |

I think the general malaise Is more that he's very error prone and has become increasingly inconsistent since Mick left. Add to that he's a high earner who wants to leave the club and it paints a more balanced picture of a moderate supporters view. |  |

No it's not.... there's always been a section of our fans who have never rated Knudsen. Him speaking out in support of Mick is simply not a factor.
Personally I think he is a fully committed, but limited player, typical of many in the Championship. |  |
