Excellent turn out from Ipswich last night for what was effectively a dead rubber. Kudos to you for coming in numbers and staying behind your team despite the game drifting away.
Surprised at the negative Ipswich comments on here. We had some loan players in there who are from Premiership clubs but short of match practice. You had a young team. The game was settled by a very soft penalty just as you were starting to work your way back. You could tell that the ref later had second thoughts about that decision as he waved play on the next three or four times a Luton player went to ground. Your wingers impressed in the first half and gave Galloway (Prem experience) and Bree (£3m player on loan from Villa) a difficult game. Your centre-forward looked short of confidence.
The young lad who scored your goal looked bright. Got booked for a petulant challenge but a mean streak showed desire to win. Flynn Downes is a Championship player. Was excellent for us the season before last.

As with any forum, a certain number of posters on here are very much 'glass half empty' and are only happy if they are moaning about the team.
A small section of the fans would like nothing better than the club to end up going out of business so that they could use it as a stick to beat the owner with.
My view;
It was effectively a reserve game, and was played against a team in a league above us. Like you say, a promising performance from Dobra was something to take away from it. |  |

Was a local game for me so i'm constantly aware of the Luton view on things. Don't take too much notice of the wider views here as there is obviously a lot of frustration that we are not as well managed (i don' necessarily mean the team manager but the club itself) and haven't been for a number of years compared to a club like yours, which has made great progress on and off the pitch and puts money in the right areas etc.
Not holding out much hope that we will visit KR ever again, you'll be in Power Court next time we meet with us on the end of another Mickey Mouse Cup thrashing. All the best for the season though and hope to see you at least steady in mid table. |  | | |

We’re having a horrendous run of injuries, and we have a hangover from last season of not taking chances when in the ascendency and senior players making howlers!!!
