Edwards was one of our best today.

He broke up play well which was a big part of his role with Judge being given free rein ahead of the midfield. Edwards' use of the ball is really poor at times but he put in a good shift. Norris needs dropping.

He did the minimum required for me. Did put one ball on Norwood’s head first half (been too long since he delivered a good cross), zero attacking threat in the second and distribution could have been better. I liked the back three overall. I think we could have dealt with the high ball if Norris hadn’t come rushing out. I don’t know why keepers do it.

Exactly this. Edwards isnt a long term solution there and its a problem but he worked hard. I don't love him to be honest but way over the top. Huws was ok. Norris was poor for the goal but that is it. I would put Holy in but that's notnjust because of today.

Edwards' crossing in the first half was the best I've seen from him in some time. If we had strikers that were prepared to put their head in where it hurts then we could have had another 2 or 3 goals.

Huws and Downes worked well together first half And really for about the first 15 mins of the second half? As the game got scrappier and more physical they certainly faded Wycombe are everything that modern football isn't about, very much to a throwback of that old punt it into the mixer type style but boy are they effective at it They will get annihilated in the Championship I'd take Jacobson and their two centre backs though, fair play to them

I liked the look of Stewart, big and physical but he had pace to cover at the back, which is something we really are lacking.

The one Norwood missed was poor. I don't recall any other crosses being wasted by the strikers.

He put in 3 really good deliveries during that first half, the Norwood one included, but not one of our strikers took a gamble.

Yes he should have got that on target as Judge did with both of his chances !

Judge should have scored today. He hit two good chances straight at the keeper. Did well with the header to be fair, but the other two were better chances and he didn't do enough with them.

Ey? on 17:31 - Jan 1 with 1826 views | unstableblue | I’ve been slating Edwards of late, but today he was improved, suits a 5. I thought Huws, whilst not tearing it up, had some nice moments. Norris cost us the game.

Agreed but Norris yet again let the team down. Holy must play next game! Very competitive so nothing was going to be easy but felt that we didn’t make the most of our chances. We need left CB urgently.

Well Norris and and i thought Wilson and Chambers struggled most of the match . Been saying we need a quality centre back since the start of the season and have not changed my mind . How W W did not score early on i will never know . I thought the midfield showed promise and hope we stick with it .

Huws,Edward's,Norris. on 17:49 - Jan 1 with 1726 views | jas0999 | Thought Edwards was shaky to start, but overall played well. Put in some lovely crosses - one of which should have been taken by Norwood. By no means our worse performer. Less said about Norris the better. Huws needs to go as his injury record is poor and unlikely to ever regain top form as he will miss more than he plays (but by no means dreadful today). . [Post edited 1 Jan 2020 17:50]

So he's shown improvement but should in your own words never start for us again. Do me a favour. I hate this sort of pupularist scapegoating. Is the thinking everyone loves an Anti Edwards (Or Skuse or Chambo) comment i'm having a bit. KVY injured, Donacian Injured. Edward did his best and let nobody down. Great support mate! I think he is a bit do lightweight but he has some good qualities.
