Why are people so angry with that performance. 16:54 - Jan 1 with 4288 views | Terry_Nutkins | Much much better. Garbage bit of defending/keeping cost us the 3 points. We were much better then them at their place. It wasn't vintage but the performance and effort was decent.

They stick one big bloke on and we can't handle it. That's all a team has to do against us.

It’s not a real surprise that we were able to have more control of the ball. An improvement from the utter sh!te recently isn’t much and at the end of the day we’ve still not won and it’s a game where we’ve created next to bügger all and conceded a really sloppy goal. Of course. So do Wycombe. We should have won that. Awful from Norris. If it was a shocking performance it would be dreadful and demoralising but we battled well. We tried to play football which they didnt. There were more positives then negatives today. We didn't capitulate after that woeful goal.

Yes, we weren't much better than them, but they are top of the league & were playing at home. It does show that playing ugly football & winning 2nd balls can potentially get you out of this league. We have to get the ball down & pass it but also defend a little better.

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 16:59 - Jan 1 with 2238 views | groovyASH | It's not anger so much as frustration, is it? We never look like a team who will kill games off when in front. Poor goal returns, too many games where we can only score 1 goal, and it then only takes 1 piece of stupidity from the keeper or defence, and goodbye to the win

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 16:59 - Jan 1 with 2209 views | Mullet | The fact we are trailing the league to a side who were lucky to survive last season and were favourites for the drop this season probably does it. Ainsworth is polishing a turd to almost miraculous levels, but even so we dominated them in all aspects of the stats and still gave them a way back in far too often. Ainsworth was proactive with his subs and knew who he wanted to bring on where. Lambert once again makes late subs, and seems to have too many options. As great as it was to see Teddy, what the chuff is he supposed to do when he wins the 3 minute bow of the wee? I'm not sure people are all that angry but when you give a manager a fcuking great contract after 10 winless games and we go and make it 11 through the most schoolboy of errors, it's gonna rankle.

They're a poor side though and their recent run, for me, is more reflective of their level than their league position. We should have won that game.

We were just about an equal of Wycombe. Not better, an equal, particularly when Akinfewa came on. We struggled to pass the ball and we struggled to threaten for the most part against a side which conceded four on Sunday and lost their last three matches against promotion rivals.

They could have stuck a midget up front & they would have still scored against a defence so out of sorts it's unbelievable

Your standards are low. Just because we didn't capitulate that's good? It's the minimum required.

Not sure you can say that - they are top of the table in the division we are in (3 points clear at that). The bigger problem is our lack of ability to close a game out and our form over a prolonged period now.

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 17:00 - Jan 1 with 2178 views | Ryorry | We had 61% possession & 5 shots on target. They had 1 shot on target from which they scored due to Norris' error (according to reports by others). If Holy doesn't start on Sat, I'll be wanting an explan of why!

We'd barely even considered their existence until recently. I hate where we are. I'm just feeling negative I suppose.

Of course he'll start Saturday, it's a meaningless cup game.

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 17:04 - Jan 1 with 2037 views | JDB23 | I'm just tired of these turgid, sh!thouse one dimensional teams take the piss out of us every week and take points when they should be getting battered. In control of that game for 70 mins but yet again fail to take chances, give away a disgraceful goal then go into our shell hoping not to lose it rather than try and win. Seen it happen all too often.

I hate where we are but we can't argue that we should beat teams at our level just because of who we are. The same could be said about Luton, Burnley, Stoke and many others. We need to be good enough to beat who we are up against. At the start of the season we were. Currently we are not. We need to get back to winning and get there fast.

Beating ONE team at our level would be quite nice right now. Not shelling five at Lincoln, letting in a horrific goal today, limping to a 0-0 draw at home to Gillingham, being completely dominated by Portsmouth, giving Bristol Rovers a two goal lead and collapsing at Coventry.

We are lacking confidence big time. But we worked so hard today. I was interested to see if we would try to play the ball and we did (didnt always come off). I look at the two games against Wycombe and could easily have been 6 points. Nobody is saying it's a fantastic result and we all desperately want to get the win and the monkey off our back. I won't turn on the players or manager when i see that effort. I'll get behind that. That was a performance to build on after the last shocker. Let's go stuff Accrington and get up this table.
