Phil

Is it usually the case for the players to travel down vs Wimbledon?

I thought they usually always stay over? Even against Norwich

Only reason I ask as Norwood has put a picture up on Instagram with "game 2 hours away - leave 12 hours before" with loads of thumbs up.

Another way of saving a bit more money?

Presume every game is different, but I don't think you need to travel the night before for an evening game in London.

Norwich is normally a midday kick off, whereas tonight for an evening game I imagine the travel time is sufficient to give players an evening at home

The Norwich games are normally a 12pm kick off so staying over makes sense

Can't imagine we'd ever stay overnight ahead of a night game only a couple of hours down the road

Whatever our normal routine is, we should do something entirely different. Anything to break the cycle of losing. I’d have them all take the train.

The team bus is currently parked up at the hotel I am in, in Kingston, but it may well be they have popped in for food and R&R (some of the players have been out shopping).

Yeah good point regarding the night game

Just thought in the modern game (sports science) with travelling and waiting around it might fatigue them or I am probably thinking too much into it.

Up the towen

They should be made to hitch. Have it be like that SAS programme or something.

So, if the matchday eighteen were dropped on to the end of Orford Spit at midnight with a fiver each who do you think would make it to Wimbledon by kick off, and who would get there first?

In the seventies and eighties, the team coach use to always stop at the Brentwood Services for tea and toast.

They've done that a couple of times this season, I think. Might have been the MK Dons previously. The usual form is to travel the day before, perhaps a bit of a money-saver, perhaps also just as they're relatively close evening games. From the opposite angle money-wise, they flew to Exeter.

Norwood would.
Will wouldn,t be so keen.
Kenlock,s positional sense suggests he would end up in Oulton Broad.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

All those angry TWTDers who want Holy and not Norris would pick Norris up and take him off in the wrong direction.
It would be a guranteed way of forcing PL to play the team we want him to.

They could follow Jimmy Bullard’s lead, and get a black cab. He allegedly got one from central London to Newcastle’s training ground.
