Sold initial allocation of 50,300 for Wembley final v Salford, and asked for more due to demand.

Are they bigger than us but just limited by current ground capacity?

No they wouldnt. Portsmouth have a bigger fanbase than Brighton and Southampton.

Portsmouth are the biggest club south of london.

Portsmouth will take around 70,000 to wembley for the final which is remarkable and proves they are one of the biggest in europe fanbase wise.

What happened to the 7,000 for this match ? Only 1,500 turned up.

Sold 7,000 for Coventry away tonight I'm hearing, remarkable. Not sure how true this is but from a very reliable source. Great effort for league one.

EastTownBlue, if you did your research you will see that the club coaches broke down so a large percentage of the Portsmouth fans didn't make it to Coventry. Tickets sold was 7000 but the 1500 who turned up made their own travel arrangement si.e train or drove there.

5500 were on a broken-down coach (bit crowded) or all coaches broke down at the same time? hahah amazing

So when they next play Norwich the stadium will have to have 2.5 million capacity.

Before they became a hobby club for a Disney exec they were a busted flush - destroyed by lazy managers and joke or non-existent owners....

Just think Town could be at Wembley in a couple of years if only people stopped going for a few weeks and forced Evans to leave.
