EastTownBlue, if you did your research you will see that the club coaches broke down so a large percentage of the Portsmouth fans didn't make it to Coventry. Tickets sold was 7000 but the 1500 who turned up made their own travel arrangement si.e train or drove there. |

Since this individual has only been posting since we dropped in to League 1, I suspect he is a Pompey fan than goes on to other 'big clubs' forums to compete in a 'c*ock' measuring competition with other big clubs in the league. I would also suspect you may see a similar poster on the Sunderland forum.

We have soldout fratton park all but twice this season in the league, and had we a big enough ground would be top of the average attendance list by far, above Sunderland too. We had 65,000 applications for the Arsenal game and soldout months before. Look at Sheff Wed, 20,000 for man city at home yesterday, we would have sold out fratton park 4 times over.
Even Saints fans realise and admit we are the bigger club in the south.

I don’t think you realise that we actually have 64,000 season ticket holders with another 20,000 on a waiting list. Our stadium is reduced capacity to 20k because of segregation rules, meaning ST holders get randomly selected on a game by game basis of who can attend.
