I wonder if that indicates that Jackson tested positive?

I think the club get to choose if it goes ahead depending on how many players have it. If just Jackson you'd imagine we'd play it

Didn't Hawkins have an illness as well?

Spoke the club earlier and was told the game isn't in doubt as things stand. Obviously if half the squad test positive then that might change.

Doncaster may be unwilling to play it if too many players are positive, though if the players on the pitch have been tested and are negative then it shouldn’t be an issue.

Obviously the players positive can't play but its up to PL if it goes ahead if its under a certain number. Bit like international's break

And I suppose Doncaster will be happy playing a weakened team if we are missing players but elect to play.

I assume we’ll have to alert Accrington if more players return a positive test?

If Jackson hasn't had his result back in three days, how are the rest of the squad going to know if they are positive before tomorrow's game if they only were tested today?

If you test positive they have to let you know immediately , they did my sister in law , rest of family didn’t hear for several days as they tested negative, so on that basis Jackson is negative , unless he is keeping it secret !

wow didn't know that, thanks. is it really such a shambles that a system can't send out a simple email or txt notification on the result of a negative test? must be costing the economy thousands in working days where people are self-isolating for a few days for no reason.

If you test positive everyone in your household has to self isolate.

Think if a player tests positive it likely that others will be required to self isolate even if a test is negative.

Isn't that the situation with Wayne Rooney at the moment? Why on earth do you have to isolate if you've had a negative test. Surely if you catch it you are positive immediately, so if you test negative you cannot have caught it from the person who tested positive?

You can test negative if you have caught it but not yet built up sufficient in your system to show up in the test.
