Prime football on TV on 09:06 - Dec 18 with 2481 views | Herbivore | I couldn't get the Liverpool-Spurs game to work after the first 20 minutes using my smart TV. None of the various suggestions online resolved the issue, it just wasn't having it. Worked okay last night for the Sheffield United game for me but the reliability of their streaming is piss poor when you consider this is Amazon we're talking about and not some tinpot budget provider.

Prime football on TV on 09:07 - Dec 18 with 2492 views | StokieBlue | Never have any issues with Prime TV on anything I stream. It's pretty strange given that Amazon have one of the best cloud setup for streaming, for instance, they actually host Netflix so everything you stream from Netflix is from the same Amazon cloud. It's only on their live streams that I've ever had issues. Films and things usually work fine, but live sport is very hit and miss. When I was Googling frantically on Wednesday to try to resolve the issue it seems lots of people have problems with Prime, especially on smart TVs.

Likewise, they clearly have issues with live streaming, and I've just seen an apology sent by them for the poor reception the other night.

I was watching with fire stick too, and I'm on FTTC so it's not a bandwidth issue either.

Prime football on TV on 09:31 - Dec 18 with 2384 views | bluefunk | I had issues with the picture quality on Liverpool spurs via an LG smart tv but now you can access Pime via a Sky box and that was pretty much perfect watching last nights games

Was literally about to post this, word for word. Same tv, same issues, same solution, same good outcome. Thoroughly recommend now watching through the sky app if you have Sky Q.
Prime football on TV on 10:15 - Dec 18 with 2302 views | Bluefish | I haven't had any issues on the bits I've watched. I do have an ethernet cable to my router though from the TV box. On saying that though I have BT Halo and it is brilliant, I often wonder how often the streaming issues are down to people's broadband speeds

I had it on Sky Q last night, my broadband line is terrible (live in East Bergholt but the exchange is in Manningtree...). I had no issues at all with the Villa game. You might want to try something other than the smart tv or fire stick, they are small low powered devices, it could be that they lack the processing power to stream live football. Also, just because your speed is fast it doesn't mean you have good bandwidth. A bit like plumbing, if you have low water pressure, a larger pipe won't make it any better.

That definitely wasn't my issue, all my other streaming apps were working perfectly. It's only streaming live on Amazon Prime where I've had these issues. Smart TVs do seem to be less good than things like Roku and Fire Stick though from what I've seen so far, so might revert back to using the Roku.

I had the same problem watching through an app on xbox. I resolved it by turning the xbox off and on again.

Same here. Brand new OLED LG tv had loads of buffering and pixelation using the inbuilt app. Switched to SkyQ box and it was perfect although not 4K like Sky Sports offer. 650mb speed of wifi with FTTP, so not an issue of speed or bandwidth.

Prime football on TV on 20:22 - Dec 18 with 1949 views | BlueForYou | Personally I think Amazon should stick to selling & marketing. Their Sports offerings are well below expectation. If they were widely available via Freeview or Sky boxes that might help. Streaming mainstream sports through an unreliable platform isn’t going to win many friends.
