Having spent half my life in the aviation industry and dealing with many "Johnny Foreigners" along the way I was always impressed by the folks from the Indian sub continent who used the phrase in business e mails as "For Gods sakes" Their understanding and usage of the English language was generally excellent and reflected the rather antiquated colonial past in many instances. Shall we do the needful ? Kindly adjust are two lovely phrases that were often used..
