So, you made it up yourself rather than copying someone else that had made it up?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Somebody is making names up, surely. Coleman always come across as a lovely bloke but as a manager? No thanks. Mind you, given the desperate state of the club, maybe he’s the best we can hope for.

I too have heard this, but apparently he is on an “available” list rather than necessarily “the” list.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Forget the rumours, we are not getting a new manager anytime soon. There is no stopping the runaway train to obscurity and beyond.

I was taking the pee when I posted this, but it wouldn't surprise me if Coleman is an option for the eventual replacement of Lambert (no rush, just another season being wasted).

Evans is working his way around the nations of the British Isles.

We've had:
N Ireland
Ireland
England
Yorkshire
Scotland

So it's only Wales and Cornwall to go. I'd lump on Dean Saunders. Out of work, cheap and crap. Just how we like them.

Evans is hugely unpredictable when it comes to managers. One minute he's star struck by a big name former player, the next he's dragging some has been out of his porno-filled retirement. So it's hard to know how he'll swing. I think he'll stick to an out of work manager (cheaper!). He's always gone for managers who have experienced promotion before. Will he abandon this stupid tactic? I hope so.

It just so happens that biggish name, out of work managers include a couple of Welsh options in Coleman and Pulis. Pulis has done enough to be well above us. Coleman is a funny one. He did well with Wales, but the quality in that squad was pretty special and a lot of the ground work was put in by Speed and his team. Yet he's failed miserably with league clubs since Fulham. Personally, I think he's a more outgoing, personable version of Lambert. Had a bit of success in the past, but hasn't cut it since and wouldn't here. Anyway, I think he'd demand too big a fee to be a sensible option.

Doesn't feel right to me. I'd rather try Dyer and work on building something for a change, rather than trying to piggyback off success someone's had somewhere else.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
