It is on the table at the football league HQ in Preston for ratifying, maybe thats why LON hasn't seen it. Worth keeping an eye on news from Bristol over the coming days.

Do you mean that it's being ratified or that there's no deal?
This isn't the time for unclear posts Phil!
That the deal is with the EFL for ratification. I assume that process takes a while and probably gets under way when stuff's still ongoing. Not an expert though. Got to call someone but really not had any time!

Would there not be an issue with the EFL in the Bristol City connection? Has there been a change in the previous rule that there cannot be cross ownership of clubs?

Ashton would be nothing more than an employee either here or at BCFC? Wouldn't think it would be an issue?
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

There was some talk that Steve Lansdown would be one of the investors, and he owns Bristol City. Mind you the EFL may take some comfort from that. At least these Yanks don’t appear to have “fit and proper” issues as some potential owners have .
