I agree to an extent because he's the one most likely (at all likely) to 'pop up' with a goal. He obviously got a few at the start of the season and also one during that first half against Pompey in the cup where we had nothing at all about us.
Ponderous in possession though, so he needs to show more overall. He's almost the opposite player to what I thought we were getting in the summer of 2018. Should never have been signed as a mid table champ team looking to progress. | |

I dunno, I feel quite sorry for our midfield. Most weeks they're playing 2 versus 3 and with an unenviable array of passing options. Four defenders who desperately don't want the ball. A "number ten" whose performances vary from trampoline-touch-competition-winner to just generally uncreative. Wide forwards whose positional play is almost as bad as their ability to keep the ball under pressure. A choice of strikers were one is quick but can't time his runs and the other is slow but his movement's alright. |  |

With our midfield I'll just go with "stick in" as we're currently eating at the Greasy Spoon - lots of indigestible choices that are all in need of a bit of condiment to make them palatable. | |
