The problem with Bishop & Dozzell as the defensive midfield players in 4-2-3-1 is that neither is very good when we lose the ball. They aren't good at regaining it & often pick up a cheap yellow with a silly foul. I highlighted this before the game; problem was, with Downes out, McGavin away & Skuse not fully fit, no-one else to play there except invisible man Huws. |  |

I see the quality but I only see it for 15 mins every 4 games. The rest of the time he's jogging around 3 seconds behind play or giving away ridiculous fouls. [Post edited 20 Mar 2021 15:22]

I would have seen that Dozzell is by far the best distributor of the ball , and Bishop the most dangerous with the ball at his feet we have. Add the defensive attributes of Downes and we have a decent midfield 3. | | | |
