I *think* (having read each of your replies carefully) that your point can be summarised as:
Lots of players have left
Therefore Paul Cook has had a big job on his hands
Some local newspapers aren't making enough of this hurdle that he has had to overcome
Therefore those newspapers are damaging the club because they are making out that Cook has done a bad job in easy circumstances

He brought in the players he wanted.
Results haven't been great.
SO he is accountable for results so far, but I can cut him some slack as I can see what he is trying to do and LOVE some of the players that he has brought in.

And the lazy connection to the completely different (and fairly hopeless) job Cook inherited last season is unhelpful and largely irrelevant.
He needs better results (as he’d himself agree) but he’s just 4 league games into an utterly new project within a very different setup. The self-appointed pundits and commentators need to take a step back and wait a little. |  |
