The club seem to be ploughing on as if it will be a usual game day.
I could see the gate being vastly impacted by COVID, i think will be thousands that give this a miss rather than 100s.
despite 28,000 tickets sold this is going to be well under 25,000, possibly nearer 20,000
Will they count tickets sold and ST holders or number of people that actually walk through turnstiles? |  |

Maybe i know more cautious people than in general... but I'd say half people i know have cancelled their plans (be it football, seeing friends, going to a show etc) between now and Xmas to ensure they don't mess up their Christmas.
5 people i know have gone down with Covid in the last 48 hours. It seems to everywhere right now.
Perhaps people giving it a miss will only be in the 100s but I'd be surprised. [Post edited 17 Dec 2021 13:49]

STs and tickets sold will be counted. Town have never given the numbers that go through the turnstiles on matchday. | |

Anyone else considering not going Saturday? by homer_123 13 Dec 2021 11:44I maybe in a minority and everyone has a choice to make, so this isn't a plea to stop people going.
I'm probably not going to go....not had booster yet, booked for next week. So, although double jabbed, likely I'll miss.
Having weighed everything up - just too close to Xmas to take a risk of contracting Covid and scuppering Xmas plans.
I know a fair few people who, on the run up to Xmas, seem to be limiting social contact etc.
Anyone else thinking the same?

Nearly everyone I know isn’t going now. That’s a chunk of the lower north and they’re ST holders, it’s going to be interesting to see how many patches are left tomorrow. I just feel sorry for those stuck in the bad seats when better ones will be available. |  |
