Yes. Strongly.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Yes.

And it's a moot point as I would think he will be looking for a job in Germany so he can live at home with his family, and not overseas away from them, especially with the current travel difficulties.

Depends what the alternative is I guess. Norwich connections aside, he's shown he's a capable manager, and there would be something satisfying about their greatest ever manager having such little regard for them that he comes here. Imagine beating them and them having to see him celebrate with the Town fans.

In principle no. I’ve no idea if he’s any good and that for me is the key question.

There are plenty of averagely competent perverts in macs in football. We don't need one of theirs.

100% yes.

Not that he'd even consider coming here.

Non-starter - he's off to Besiktas.

If we had even a sniff of getting him, I would welcome him. Imagine the exact same manager, but he'd been the manager of Fulham for the last few years - we'd be on cloud nine in those circumstances.

Not in theory, but - and especially after Lambert - there will be very little leeway if anything at all goes wrong. The atmosphere is likely to turn very nasty very quickly unless things start wiorking pretty much straight away.

So I would consider it a highly risky option, more so than can be reasonably justified.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

No

I’m petrified of some of the alternatives.

Something about cutting off one's nose to spite one's face springs to mind. So, no of course I wouldn't object.

Not that he'd come here - it's ludicrous to think that someone with his reputation and attracting the attentions of a team that regularly plays Champions League football would drop down to little old us. If anyone genuinely thinks he would it the type of delusion that fuel unrealistic expectations that every manager has to work against (not just those who have some links to Narwich).

We just want the best guy (or gal, but I don't think we're ready for that yet) we can get. Links to Narwich are irrelevant imo. I don't think any less of Alan Lee because he spent time with them, or Royle, or Whymark, or Woods, or any number of managers or players who've had links with both clubs over the years. I think most fans don't mind either given the quite frankly incredible support Lambert and Cook had when doing badly.

Is he still alive? A few weeks ago Look East ran an obituary on him, or at least that’s what it seemed.

No, he has proved he can get teams promoted. I find it amazing some fans want Lampard who failed to get Derby promoted from the championship even with all the money they spent but don't want Farke who did get Norwich promoted.
