Makes you wonder how Pigott was even selected that day ahead of Bonne when you consider how much more he's contributed since.
Pigott was the marquee signing after all, maybe it didn't matter what Bonne or Norwood did in pre-season, Pigs was probably always going to start. We saw what Woolfenden said about Cook having to play the defenders the club had spent a lot of money on.

I don't actually think Pigott has done a huge amount wrong, Bonne just started the season on fire and became undroppable with us only ever playing 1 striker under Cook.
You still banging the same drum? I love Norwood too - but prefer not to go on and on and on about it.

I agree. I think KMcK will switch it around with the games coming thick and fast. Expect to see Bonne rested (on the bench) with Norwood starting tomorrow night.

Yes I did, in what was a particularly "competitive" game.
Yes I was very surprised to see Norwood out and Chaplin and Celina in, for a game that was always going to be physically combative, but as I said at the time, in K-Mac we trust. He knows what he's up to, and most importantly he has 3 wins out of 4.
At this level Norwood is a very decent attacker. However, it's never a bad thing to have a plan B and C...
