I suggested him on here the moment Oxford could not reach the play offs in April / May time. However, as Morsy's role has become more attacking and the form of Evans and Ball to come back too plus Humph and at a push Aluko as options in there, not sure I would spend that cash on wages for a possible back up player. If we played a three in midfield then that's different. |  |

Probably didn't want to leave Oxford to go and sign for a club who will probably be back in L1 in a couple of seasons anyway. Apparently the facilities at Blackpool's training ground are near non-league standard as well - Colby Bishop was up there for talks but did a last minute u-turn and joined Portsmouth instead. |  |
