I have friends who are middle-income or retired on ordinary pensions and think this miserable crew are "great", "love Boris, he should still be in charge", say "but Labour..........." and have already said they will vote Tory again. They certainly aren't rich. As they live in Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambs it doesn't take too much working out to recognise the candidates they will be voting for.
I despair....................

If the likes of south suffolk and suffolk coastal are lost to the tories that would be monumental. However past experience tells us that hacked off tories tend to vote Liberal. In which case it could be mean Liberal Seats propping up a Labour government.
One other point. The tory government was on death row long before the 1997 Labour landslide, therefore I suspect we may not see an election until January 2025 as they desperately cling on to power. | | | |
