Even less clear now they've shown that graphic. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I thought it might have been given for the second ball, as the defender was furthest back and the Ecuadorian could have been marginally ahead of everyone else. It wasn't clear enough to see for sure, but having seen the graphic, that wasn't even the reason. Looked onside to me at the time and now.

bloke who nodded it back was offside.
I've only seen the replay and it doesn't show when the ball was played. But at one point he was in an offside position. then the ball looped down, defenders came back putting him in an onside position, then he nodded it back.
If the ball was played when he was offside, then it was correct. |  |
